Define Bussiness Objective

The first step is to determine the business objectives of your organization. The gamification framework will be designed around these business objectives.

By making use of our comprehensive gamification platform Pony, you can achieve results on different performance goals such as customer service, sales, social collaboration, improved communication, e-learning and many more.

Understand Players And Context

The culture of your organization will be mapped and the existing motivation structures will be made explicit.

The Pony platform will be customized to fit the cultural and motivational needs of the future players (your employees). Also the actual measurements (desired behaviors) will be determined.

Design Game And Create Framework

At this point you know your objectives, players and how to motivate them. Now we can focus on the game elements. EngageIT looks beyond the use of points and badges. It uses the mature form of gamification and works towards a meaningful game.

The objectives and behaviors will be linked to feedback mechanisms and the gamification platform will take shape.

Implement And Connect

In this step the gamification platform will be brought to life. The design choices from step 3 will be technically developed and implemented.

Revise And Balance Framework

This step will be all about testing, testing, testing.

Does the gamification platform work properly? Are the correct behaviors rewarded? Do they fit the bussiness objectives from step 1?

It is important to find the right balance between the often conflicting KPIs.
